Crash was the best magazine where the Spectrum was concerned. It got to the point where more than 100'000 people were buying this magazine every month. That was quite an achievement for a gaming magazine in the 80's. At the time there wasn't really any competition for it, the magazine was simply that good. C&VG hardly needs an introduction, it was and still is the longest running multi format magazine to date. Some would argue that it was a better magazine before the recent image change. The ONE had more image changes than most, it had to in order to keep up with the popularity of Amiga. It started out catering for the PC and Atari too, the A500 took off and the magazine followed becoming 'The One for Amiga'.

ZZAP commanded a large audience. The C64 was huge and this was the magazine to read. This Lightscribe DVD holds every single issue as well as cover tapes, posters and videos.

Another great all rounder, Advanced Computer Entertainment rode the crest of both 8bit and 16bit gaming. It never repeated itself by recycling news, it was up to date and popular. The Lightscribe DVD contains all 55 issues plus cover tapes, discs and pamphlets.

By the time Nintendo and Sega had released both of their 16bit creations, there was room for the original Mean Machines to split itself in two. Arise Nintendo Magazine System and Mean Machines Sega. As good a read as the early CVG magazines, The Games Machine catered for all platforms and had a strong readership. This Lightscribe DVD contains all 34 issues.

Superplay was the best SNES magazine by far. The writers were clever when they decided to produce a magazine that would cater heavily for the import market on U.K territory. Games from the U.S.A and Japan were sought after and Superplay saw sense. Superb magzine, great artwork always.
